Or Red Bull Salzburg wanted to sign him on loan, they have already hired Bobby Clarke from Liverpool for around £10m. Salzburg are led by Jurgen Klopp's former assistant at Anfield, Pep Lijnders.
Barcelona are the latest club to show interest in Bajcetic and want to add him to Flick's squad before the transfer deadline.
The Spanish team is looking for a replacement for young midfielder Marc Bernal, who recently suffered a serious injury and will miss most of the season.
Olmo, who was appointed in the summer by Barcelona, has signed a six-year contract at the Nou Camp and now has an exceptional £429m release clause.
“Wherever he plays, Olmo stands out for his individual talent and ability to communicate with his teammates,” Barcelona said.
“A goal is a goal, as shown in Euro 2024, and you can score from inside and outside the area.”
