Don't Show Again Yes, I would!

iPhone 16 Pro Max will have razor-thin bezels, industry-leading

The upcoming iPhone 16 Pro Max handset will have razor thin bezels. The information has been shared by Ice Universe, one of the most prominent tipsters out there. He also shared how thick those bezels will be.

In a new post on X, he said that the bezels will be only 1.15mm thick. Those will be the thinnest bezels on any smartphone, and yes, they will be uniform. Apple is using a new method to trim down the bezels, and this is a result of that.

The company is using a process called the ‘Border Reduction Structure’. That managed to cause some production problems for Apple, allegedly, but those problems have been sorted out, it seems.

The tipster even shared a render that shows how thin the bezels will be. You can check out that image below, in case you’re interested. They really do seem to be very thin.

Going from 1.55 to 1.15mm

For comparison’s sake, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max bezels measure 1.55mm all around. Needless to say, that’s quite a reduction Apple is planning. The bezels on the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be 0.40mm thinner.

We’re not sure about the iPhone 16 Pro, though. It would be great if that handset had the same bezel thickness as its big sibling, but it remains to be seen if that will happen. We’re expecting it to be the case, as the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max had the same bezel thickness.

With that being said, the tipster also shared the iPhone 16 Pro Max’s tempered glass screen protector in a separate post. You can see it below, and this image also shows that thin bezels are definitely in tow.
