The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will be narrower and include thinner bezels than its predecessor. This information comes from Ice Universe, a well-known tipster. He’s actually all about bezels today, as he already shared some iPhone 16 Pro Max info.

With that being said, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will be 77.6mm wide, compared to 79mm of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Despite the fact it will be narrower, the Galaxy S25 Ultra will include a larger display than its predecessor.

The phone is coming with a 6.86-inch display based on this information. The Galaxy S24 Ultra features a 6.79-inch panel. You can see that comparison below. Needless to say, this is a step in the right direction. You can see that comparison below.

Galaxy S25 Ultra will be narrower & have thinner bezels

Now, even though the Galaxy S25 Ultra will have thinner bezels, they seemingly won’t be as thin as the ones Apple will offer. The iPhone 16 Pro Max (and possibly the iPhone 16 Pro) will feature bezels that are only 1.15mm thick.

Chances are that Samsung won’t outshine Apple in the bezel department, however

Those will become the world’s thinnest bezels on a smartphone. Apple managed to reduce them from 1.55mm, which was the bezel thickness on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. The bezels will also be uniform on that handset. That is expected to be the case with the Galaxy S25 Ultra too, by the way.

We’re not entirely sure how thick the Galaxy S25 Ultra bezels will be. The tipster did not share that info just yet, we’ll just have to wait and see. What we do know is that the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s corners won’t be as sharp as they are on the current-gen model.

The entire Galaxy S25 series is expected to arrive in early 2025, most likely in January.
