Apple is expected to announce this year’s iPhone models at its annual fall event in September. The Cupertino tech giant hasn’t yet set an exact date for the upcoming event. However, a gadget tipster on X has shared some information regarding the next Apple event. According to the source, Apple will allegedly host an event on September 10 to launch the iPhone 16.
Apple to host an event on September 10 to introduce the iPhone 16 series
As per the tipster Majin Bu, the iPhone 16 series’ alleged launch event will be held on September 10. The tipster has also shared an image of the purported event invite. The invite highlights a “Ready. Set. Capture.” tagline, which could be pointing at the new Capture Button of the next-ge iPhone models. All four iPhone 16 models launching this year are expected to flaunt a new dedicated Capture Button.
Notably, the tipster said that the source of this news has asked to remain anonymous. In addition, Bu mentioned that there’s no way of verifying this information. However, recent reports in the past have also suggested a launch on September 10. The alleged iPhone 16 launch date is possible, given how it goes along with Apple’s past event dates. Notably, the iPhone 15 series saw the light of the day around the same time on September 12 last year.
Apple will launch four new iPhone models this year
According to the reports, Apple will launch as many as four new iPhone models this year. These will include the iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The new phones will have four key improvements including an Action Button, a Capture key, a larger screen for Pro models, and a same SoC across all models.
The next-gen iPhones will also bring several Apple Intelligence features. Apple will offer the new iPhone models in multiple color variants, apart from introducing changes to the existing options. Notably, the company will launch a brand new Desert Titanium colorway for the iPhone 16 Pro models. Alongside the new iPhones, the company will also introduce the new Apple Watch and AirPod models, suggest the reports.
