HONOR has just announced that the global HONOR Magic V3 smartphone will launch on September 5. It will be announced in Berlin as part of IFA. In addition to that phone, HONOR will also announce several other products.

The global HONOR Magic V3 will launch on September 5 at IFA

The HONOR MagicBook Art 14 will also arrive, the company’s lightweight ultrabook. The third smartphone that HONOR confirmed is coming is the HONOR MagicPad 2, its latest tablet.

HONOR has confirmed that it will livestream the vent too, though we still don’t have the link for that. The event will lick off at 2 PM CET / 1 PM BST / 5 AM PST / 8 AM EST, in case you’re wondering.

The following day, on September 6 at 2 PM, HONOR will host yet another keynote. This one will host “a panel discussion with leading technology companies in the industry to explore the future of AIPC and on-device AI”.

IFA 2024 will be hosted over at Messe Berlin, as it does every year. The first event will take place in Hall 6.2B, Inspiration Stage, while the second one will occur at CityCube-A, Innovation Stage.

The Magic V3 is pushing the limits when it comes to design of foldable smartphones

The focus of the main keynote will, of course, be on the HONOR Magic V3. That smartphone is pushing the limits of foldables. It’s the new thinnest and lightest foldable in the world. Its lightest model (vegan leather) weighs 226 grams and is only 9.2mm thick when folded.

HONOR also announced the global Magic V2 in Berlin, last year. It took the company about 6 months to deliver it to the market. We’re hoping that it will take a lot less for that to happen with the Magic V3.

The HONOR MagicBook 14 Art is another very interesting product. It’s almost as light as the offering from Huawei, which is staggering. It weighs only 1.03kg, while it’s only 12.95mm thick.
