Google has finally unveiled the Google Pixel Watch 3 which comes in two different sizes this year, and pre-orders for it are already live so you can secure yours early on. The Google Pixel Watch 3 will come in 41mm and 45mm size options, with the larger model coming with not only a larger capacity battery but a bigger display as well. The Google Pixel Watch 3 in the 41mm size will retail for $349 for the Wi-Fi model or $449 for the LTE model. Meanwhile, the Google Pixel Watch 3 in the 45mm size will retail for $399 for the Wi-Fi model and $499 for the LTE model.
Prices are slightly different this year. The Wi-Fi model of the 41mm size is the same as last year’s Pixel Watch 2 at $349. However, the LTE model is now $50 more. The 45mm size pricing is brand-new this year. The Pixel Watch 3 will be available in stores starting from September 10.
Google Pixel Watch 3 – 41mm – Wi-Fi
The Google Pixel Watch 3 will start at $349. This is for the Wi-Fi model in the 41mm size which means it’ll need to be connected to your phone for data-related functions. The Wi-Fi model will connect to your phone through Bluetooth, or you can connect it to Wi-Fi hotspots.
The watch will be available in stores starting on September 10, and this includes physical retailers as well as online retailers.
Google Pixel Watch 3 – 41mm – LTE
The LTE model of the Google Pixel Watch 3 in the 41mm size is $100 more than the Wi-Fi model, so you end up paying $449 for the added benefit of being able to connect it to your wireless carrier with its own plan. For Google Fi subscribers, this can be done using a data SIM that shares the data of your phone on the service. The LTE model will also be in stores starting on September 10. Additionally, it’ll be available from a few more places.
AT&T has a pretty decent offer going for the Pixel Watch 3 where you can essentially save 50% on the price of the watch. Naturally, there are some caveats. On AT&T the 41mm LTE model of the watch will retail for $449.99, which equals out to $12.50 a month over the course of 36 months. However, if you purchase the watch on an installment plan and attach a qualifiable data plan, the watch ends up being $6.25 a month over 36 months. If you go this route, the watch will end up costing $225 in total.
Keep in mind that you don’t save money on the total cost of the watch upfront. You get the savings through bill credits over the 36-month period.
T-Mobile will be charging $459.99 for the LTE version of the Pixel Watch 3 in the 41mm size, however, you can save money by adding a new line. Here’s how the promo works. You can add a qualifying watch line to your wireless plan, you get up to $200 off. This isn’t a straight $200 off the price tag though. Rather, you get that $200 over the course of two years via 24 monthly bill credits. So you still pay the full price upfront, but your bills with the watch payments end up being cheaper.
The Pixel Watch 3 starts at $449 for the 41mm LTE model, and it’ll be starting at $12.49 a month over 36 months with the Verizon Device Payment for qualifying customers.
Google Pixel Watch 3 – 45mm – Wi-Fi
Obviously there aren’t a lot of things different about the 45mm version. It does have a couple of changes that might be worth considering though. Firstly, the 45mm watch comes with a larger display. If you’re one of the owners of a Pixel Watch or Pixel Watch 2 who has languished over the smaller display they offer, then this model is for you. More screen real estate means things are easier to see and you just have more room to work with when interacting with the touch functions. The Wi-Fi model of the 45mm Google Pixel Watch 3 will retail for $399 and it will be available in stores starting September 10.
Google Pixel Watch 3 – 45mm – LTE
For those who don’t want to compromise, go for the 45mm LTE version. It has a larger display and a bigger battery. Of course, it’ll connect to LTE so you can use it out and about. Without it being connected to your phone. This is perfect for people who don’t want to bring their phone with them everywhere, but still want to be connected.
The Google Pixel Watch 3 45mm size in the LTE version will retail for $499, and it’ll be available in stores starting on September 10.
You get the same offer on the 45mm LTE model as you do on the smaller 41mm version. You can pay $499 for the full retail price of the watch. However, you can break it up over 36 months if you want the promotional price. As with the 41mm version, if you set up the watch purchase on an installment plan and choose an eligible data plan, you’ll get bill credits for the next 36 months. After the credits, the watch comes out to be $6.95 a month, or about $250.20.
T-Mobile is offering the same promotion on the 45mm LTE version of the Google Pixel Watch 3. So if you buy this model, you pay $499 for the watch. If you add a qualifying watch line to your wireless plan and split up the payments over 24 months, you’ll receive the $200 via the 24 monthly payments.
The Price for the 45mm size in the LTE variant will get the same pricing structure as the 41mm model. It has a higher $499 price tag, but you can break it up into payments over 36 months via the Verizon Device Payment plan.
Color availability
The Google Pixel Watch 3 will come in a few different color options, but not all colors will be available in both sizes. So we’ll go over that here. Both sizes of the watch will come in a Matte Black Aluminum case with an Obsidian band and a Polished Silver Aluminum case with a Porcelain band. The 41mm size will also come in two other color combinations, which include a Champagne Gold Aluminum case with a Hazel band, and a Polished Silver Aluminum case with a Rose Quartz band.
The 45mm will also come in its own unique color which is a Matte Hazel Aluminum case with a Hazel band.
