Global HONOR Magic V3 foldable pays a visit to Geekbench

The global variant of the HONOR Magic V3 has just surfaced on Geekbench. We knew that the Magic V3 was coming to global markets, and this listing does confirm several of the specs on the global model.

The specs will likely be very similar to the Chinese variant, with some slight differences in the RAM and storage departments, possibly. Also, the global variant of this phone is expected to launch at IFA 2024 next month.

In any case, the HONOR Magic V3 appeared on Geekbench under the ‘HONOR FCP-N49’ model number. The phone managed to score 1,914 points in the single-core, and 5,354 points in the multi-core test on Geekbench.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC is confirmed for this phone. That is the same chip that the Chinese model is using. This variant of the device comes with 12GB of RAM and Android 14. HONOR’s Magic OS 8.0 will be included on top of Android.

The HONOR Magic V3 will be presented at IFA 2024 in Berlin. However, we’re not sure how long will it take HONOR to make it available to markets outside of China. It’s expected to come to Europe, UAE, Singapore, and South Korea.

Last year, it took HONOR around 6 months to make it available. We’re expecting things will go much differently this year. In fact, it will likely become available soon after its global launch. We’re only guessing, though.

It is the thinnest & lightest book-style foldable out there

The HONOR Magic V3 is the thinnest and lightest book-style foldable on the market at the moment. Even its predecessor felt like a normal phone in the hand when folded, so we have high hopes for the Magic V3.

The device also has very powerful specs, and it’s rather light for a large book-style foldable. Wireless charging is also on offer now, fast wireless charging, and much more.
