3D Printed Guitar with Impossible Geometry
Mark Gutierrez, the YouTube guitar channel “Tinkerer,” has shared an interesting video showing how he designed a unique 3D-printed guitar with what he describes as “Impossible Geometry.” It is based on the Randy Rhoads-style Flying V body shape and has a single humbucker in the bridge position.

While 3D-printed guitars aren’t a novel idea, with numerous designs accessible to DIY enthusiasts, Mark sought to innovate. His vision was a Rhoads V-style guitar adorned with intricate layered patterns that evoke an extraterrestrial aesthetic. This unique approach delivers a visually striking instrument and offers practical benefits, such as optimised material usage during 3D printing.
Carbon fiber
The majority of time invested in this project was dedicated to the intricate design process. “The bulk of the work happened digitally,” Mark explains. Some individual components required up to 12 hours to complete. Carbon fiber rods and epoxy adhesive reinforce the guitar’s structure and counteract the immense string tension.
While 3D printing offers exciting possibilities, Mark believes a hybrid approach is often optimal. Combining 3D printing with traditional methods can yield instruments that balance practicality, playability, and unique aesthetic elements unattainable through CNC routing or laser cutting alone.

The Way Huge Deep State was announced for sale via Joe Bonamassa’s online store and sold out in under two and a half hours!
Conspiracy Theory
It is essentially the Way Huge Conspiracy Theory overdrive pedal with some different diodes. The rush for this new Klon-style overdrive meant that many people missed out on getting the pedal, which was limited to 550 units worldwide.
Klon Centaur
In the original launch video, Bonamassa compared the pedal side-by-side with a six-figure rig featuring the legendary Klon Centaur. He then claimed they were “Virtually identical,” which undoubtedly helped sales for this limited-run stompbox.
Marketing Hype?
Whether you believe in marketing hype or not, Joe’s presence in promoting this pedal was a stroke of genius, and many people just had to have one. Below are some other great Klon-style pedals we recommend if you want that type of overdrive for your guitar rig.
Guitar Center Drug Discovery
Employees at a Guitar Center found cocaine and methamphetamine stashed in a guitar amp, which was shipped to the store in Gwinnett County, Georgia. It’s an unusual extra for a combo amp, but one that made the news in America recently.
Whose Drugs?
Police believe the drugs were intended for a different location and were mistakenly shipped to the music store. Thousands of dollars worth of drugs were handed over to the police by the vigilant staff at the music store after the discovery on 17 July.
It was an unusual day at work for the people on that shift, one they will remember for quite some time!
At the time of writing, no official statement has been made about who the drugs may have belonged to.
