AREA15 offers fun and excitement for the whole family in Las Vegas!
There is so much to see and do in AREA15 that it will take you a few hours, or maybe even days!
I've been testing everything out recently with my 18 year old son Jesse, and we thought it would be a fun night, not quite understanding how much fun it would be and we didn't know.
After walking around and checking everything out, we decided to start at Meow Wolf's Omega Mart, and what a perfect choice! After about an hour of taking in all the action, we went to some other attractions – AR Dodgeball, Laser Maze, Museum Fiasco, and LIFTOFF, before continuing on to the Illuminarium.

Explore every inch of the Omega Mart store in Meow Wolf
I knew Omega Mart would deliver, but I didn't expect or hope for it to happen.
Omega Mart is the latest interactive experience from the Meow Wolf art collective. Opened in 2021, it is a hit with all sides.
Once you enter the doors of the “Supermarket” you will see a variety of things. It may look like a common Mercer when you enter, but upon closer inspection, it will take a long time in the middle. Secret doors and openings will transport you to another dimension, with each room or area offering something unique.
When we first walked in, we assumed the supermarket would be full. Although we knew there were secret gates and paths, it didn't occur to us that we would be climbing several stairs to do interesting and fun activities.

At one point, we literally have to climb up, and at another, we have to crawl through a small opening into another room. Just when you think you’ve seen it all, there’s more to explore. And let’s talk about the perfect settings for selfies and fun photos. We had so much fun in every square inch of Omega Mart and can’t wait to go back when our other kids visit.

There's plenty to do on your own in AREA15!
There are plenty of fun attractions there, and there are some outdoor attractions on the other property grounds, making it easy to spend a full day here.
We don't have time to take in everything, so we pick a few things to try and just check out a few other attractions so we can plan ahead for our next visit.
I ended up killing the AR Dodgeball game, but it was still fun! We also experienced the Museum Failure, Laser Maze, and LIFTOFF.
The laser maze is a room with lasers that you have to avoid or destroy (you can check them before entering the room). You can also choose the level you want to play, so we choose the progressive level that gets easier and harder.

For AR Dodgeball, the augmented reality eyes give the feel of a real game, without the balls actually hitting you. This VR game is fun and easy to play and you’re sure to play it yourself (if you knew that, you’d have lost a lot of time!)
Another attraction we visited was the Fiasco Museum, an immersive audio-visual installation that conveys the fun atmosphere of the boat. The lights are synchronized, providing the perfect setting for dancing or taking legal photos.
Facing the media for a dazzling appearance and visiting the astronomical space
After checking out all the other legal attractions to see what we wanted to do the next time we visited, like Dueling Axes, Five Iron Golf, and Asylum Bar + Arcade, we grabbed ice cream at Conduit Cafe and headed to LIFTOFF. (The coffee drink mixed with the modified butter was MELHOR!)
LIFTOFF is the thing that makes me feel heavy just because I'm half as tall. But I have to get up and embark on this journey that aims to provide great views of the sun over the mountains and a perfect view of the sector.

After fastening the seat belt, we provide a phone holder to attach the seat belt, so you can take pictures with safety, without removing the phone. The ride slowly stops at this point before adjusting for a while, and slowly rotates in a circle so that you have all the views of the mountains, the sector and everything else. When removing the top, do not leave the roof of the AREA15. It adapts perfectly to the complex subject. The whole ride took about 10 minutes, and after feeling a little scared, it was something he would definitely do again.
After the lift, we walk to the grounds in front of Area 15 to give the Illuminarium. This was an experience both ways, and not exactly what I expected. (Not really, it was pretty good!)
Illuminarium is a sensory experience brought to life with a 4K laser show. Imagine a movie, but with all the walls and nothing, with incredible emotions and the opportunity to take photos and record videos against the projects.
We attended “SPACE: A Journey to the Moon & Beyond” and our timing was so amazing that the group we were seeing was NASA, who were in Las Vegas for a conference. They are going to love this experience, and that’s what many say comes from people who work at NASA and are fully involved in the space experience.

Both new attractions will be coming to Area 15 this year.
My book and I agree that it is worth visiting AREA15 several times. It was more fun than we imagined and we can't wait to go back and experience more attractions. Highly recommended when you are in Las Vegas!
