Google Pixel Watch 3 promo video shows off new, larger size

After bringing you promo videos of the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro (XL), and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold, we can now bring you the promo video for the Pixel Watch 3. This particular version is in Spanish, but it’s still relatively easy to see what Google is actually highlighting in this video.

Of course, a big part of what is being shown off here is the second size. This year, the Pixel Watch 3 will come in 41mm and 45mm sizes. As we wrote yesterday, those sizes will be priced at $349 and $399, respectively.

As we can see in this video, the design hasn’t changed much. Google is sticking with the crown being at the 3 o’clock position. However, the bezels do look noticeably smaller this year. Which we’ve heard that they are much smaller this time around. They look especially small on the 45mm model here.

Google highlights new fitness features for Pixel Watch 3

Google is also highlighting some new fitness features of the Pixel Watch 3, like showing how you can beat your personal best run. It will provide real-time advice during your run. . It’s also showing off new features like Cardio Load. Google is aiming to make this the best fitness watch that you have to charge every day.

There is also the new Morning Brief notification that will help you get ready for your day. Which should include things like a “Readiness Score” which Fitbit has had for a good little while.

As we’ve reported earlier this week, the Pixel Watch 3 will be sticking with its 24 hours of battery life again this year. However, charging is 20% faster (on the 41mm version, since there was no earlier 45mm model that can’t be compared). So that means it won’t need to sit on the charger as long.

The Google Pixel Watch 3 is set to be announced on August 13, alongside a number of other Pixel devices from Google. This includes the Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. We are also expecting to see the Pixel Buds Pro 2 announced at this event.
