There's nothing official to say, but Miyagi's history is the perfect spin-off in our minds. “Cobra Kai” is legally a spin-off of “The Karate Kid,” and it makes sense to do what we're doing because the main character was a face that you wouldn't necessarily say was the best teacher, but in a certain way for Miguel. And when you think about what you could do with a Mr. Miyagi show, it seems like it could be something completely different and still really relate to “The Karate Kid” as well. We have this idea of exploring all kinds of shows, from the more dramatic side to the more comedic side.
