It can be difficult to understand the magic of discomfort. “long legs” It affects people during and after watching the movie.

Since Oz Perkins' latest horror film, many have been clamoring to recapture that magic. Fortunately, there are plenty of TV shows that balance the supernatural with everyday life when it comes to chasing and tracking down a serial killer—and worse.

These are just seven TV shows you should watch after watching “Longlegs” and need to prolong the chill in your stomach.

Much like Longlegs, Yellowjackets follows the lines of things that happen during high school football that are either supernatural or simply terrifying in a realistic sense. The prisoners are constantly fighting each other and are paranoid about what could happen to them in the woods and their fellow inmates want nothing or nothing for them.

And part of you loves that Longlegs is set in the '90s (here's looking at you, a picture of Bill Clinton prominently displayed), so you'll love the needles in Yellow Jackets.

David Fincher's acclaimed futuristic Netflix crime thriller follows the early days of FBI criminal casework. Harker famously comes face to face with Longlegs in the interrogation room, and “Mindhunter” is the same. Much of the series revolves around the two protagonists interviewing captured and convicted serial killers to get inside their minds and help catch their next criminals.

In the moments of “Long Legs” from the point of view of the serial killer or you’re dancing on Ponta da Cadeira, living vicariously through the eyes of the most famous fictional serial killer will likely mix with its ramblings. “Hannibal” is a three-season prequel to “O Silêncio dos Inocentes” and “Dragão Vermelho” that follows Hannibal Lecter in his days as a forensic psychologist, working as FBI profiler Will Graham to solve cases.

The cat-and-mouse energy between Hannibal and Will is very similar to the unhappy bond shared by Harker and Longlegs.

This disturbing film, adapted from Stephen King's horror trilogy by Bill Hodges, stars Brendan Gleeson as a police officer blinded by an unsolved case where a man drives a Mercedes to get a job. It's more than just a series where a lot of time is spent getting into the mind of the killer, like a caçam-like number of naqueles. Hodges and Mr. Mercedes also form an unhappy bond as the two become obstinate toward each other – again like Harker and Longlegs.

More Stephen King adaptations. One of the things that makes “Longlegs” so compelling is how it manages to blend the supernatural elements of a murder mystery with the “mundane” parts. “The Outsider” also leaves authorities baffled by crimes that can only be explained by the supernatural. HBO's adaptation of Gillian Flynn's romantic novel stars Amy Adams as a troubled reporter who returns to her hometown to cover the murders of two local girls. I know your discovery about “Long Legs” was tied to the Harker case and his battle with his demons while chasing a murder, so “Sharp Objects” is the entry for you.

Twin Peaks: Or Return

“Longlegs” is weird. If weird is what you want, you won’t find anything weirder than “Twin Peaks: The Return.” Is it hard to get over that you didn’t watch the original “Twin Peaks” series in the ’90s? Maybe. Is it worth it? Absolutely. “Longlegs” made me feel like I was having a fever dream during parts of it, and I think I’d like that feeling to spread across several TV episodes, then start your own “Twin Peaks” show or as soon as possible.
