When it comes to durability and ease of use, K&M stands are where it’s at, both for microphones and keyboards. I own two mic stands from them and they are almost impossible to break on the road. And as a touring musician, you certainly see your fair share of broken down, almost falling apart mic stands.

Ah, cables… the bane of our existence… What would we do without them (nothing electronically), and how much easier would life be if everything was wireless? But we’re still a bit wired in just about every music instrument corner, especially in all things synth, just like K&M stands.
However, when it comes to MIDI through TRS, one thing you need to keep in mind when shopping cables is whether you want Type A or Type B. While Type A is more common, some heavyweights like Arturia still opt for TRS Type B for their instruments. While we’re all mourning the (potential!) loss of Moog One, it’s not dead yet. The giant is still one of the most ambitious synthesizers ever created and one of the very few polyphonic original Moog instruments at the moment. Back when it came out in 2018, the Moog One was a grand statement of what an ambitious synthesizer could be: endless sounds, mind-blowing depth of features, and modulation possibilities at a very Moog price.
A staggering 16-voice polyphony lets you play and sequence even the most epic chords and sounds in your imagination. Three oscillators and two filters per voice, PWM, Hard Sync, RingMod, FM to create any sound you have in your mind.
