This week, in our new installment of synth deals, we’ve gathered three pretty nice deals at Thomann! To start with, two editions of the Roland Juno-DS are on sale. Furthermore, Novation’s MiniNova can still be had for a rather steep discount. In addition, Udo Audio’s Super 6 Blue is available at 14 percent off!

Roland Juno-DS is 20 percent off!

Roland’s Juno series is one of the most popular and legendary synthesizer range ever. And in 2015, the Japanese giant returned with a renewed version of its classic, the Roland Juno-DS. Slated as a successor to the Roland Juno-DI and Juno-D, this new version brings not only the classic epic pad sounds, Juno has always been famous for.

There are two models available: the Roland Juno-DS 61 and the Juno-DS 88. The number indicates the number of keys, unsurprisingly. In addition, you get velocity-sensitive keys for the smaller version and semi-weighted keys for the bigger model. Both come loaded with a whole host of samples from different pianos, e-pianos, and other instruments. However, they also offer the possibility of loading up your own samples. Juno-DS 61 and Juno-DS 88 are almost 20 percent off at Thomann*.

Novation MiniNova is on sale!

Novation’s MiniNova is a different beast than the Roland Juno-DS. But a beast it is. It has three oscillators with VA, Wavetable, and digital waves, two filters with 14 types each, and a vocoder. This clearly puts the MiniNova in Microkorg territory.

This, combined with the Antares-style vocal tuning engine, makes the MiniNova quite the versatile and performative synth. In addition, you get up to 18x polyphony, 37 velocity-sensitive keys, and 256 production-ready presets. Plus, there is a built-in arpeggiator with 33 patterns! The MiniNova is still down by 20 percent at Thomann*!

Save 14 percent with Udo Audio’s binaural synth Super 6

It’s been five years since Udo Audio first hit the scene. In terms of innovative features and sound quality, the blue giant caused quite a stir in the synth world. I distinctly remember the relatively long lines of people wanting to try it at Superbooth 2019. And its popularity has been growing ever since.

More Information

It took another 15 months until the Super 6 was finally available in September 2020, but people have been (literally) raving about its sound. Its two oscillators, with extremely smooth-sounding, buttery filter, and the powerful step sequencer make the Super 6 a must-have. And right now, it’s on sale. While not as heavily discounted as the Roland Juno-DS, the Super 6 is still down by 14 percent at Thomann*.
