More Information

Digimorph by Linda Audio is an unapologetically digital software synth that delivers everything from gnarly basses to otherworldly pads to FM-style bells and textures. One look at the fader-laden GUI tells you that this one is all about modulation and creative sound design.

At the core of Digimorph is an additive oscillator with 16 individually adjustable harmonics. The waveshape is adjustable and ranges from sine to triangle, pulse, saw, and multi-pulse. Furthermore, there’s a phase offset parameter for the harmonics.

The center section offers additional sound shaping parameters that affect the various oscillator waveshapes, such as pulse widthwaveshaping, and ring modulation. You can also reduce the bit rate and apply a multi-mode state-variable filter.

The green modulation section at the top offers two ADSR envelopes and two LFOs, which you can apply to almost any parameter using the sliders. The same applies to the modulation wheel and velocity. In addition to this, Digimorph includes an arpeggiator / step sequencer, which also serves as a modulation source.

While Digimorph may not be as immediately accessible as standard subtractive synths, it offers a wide range of sound design possibilities. The 200 included presets are a good starting point.

Digimorph is a VST plugin for Windows.

More Information

Fanan Team Bella is all about the bells! With eight different bells and mallets models, this software synth delivers everything from classic glockenspiel and marimba tones to haunted chords and horror-movie-style textures.

After selecting the bell model of your choice, you can shape the sound using the built-in filters and wahreverb, and delay effects.

In addition to this, Bella includes a programmable step sequencer and arpeggiator that can follow the chords you play on your MIDI keyboard. A great way to create complex arpeggios and phrases!

Bella is available for Windows in VST and VST3 formats.
