Serato DJ 3.2.0 is all about effects. The latest version of the DJ software comes with a new suite of effects for even more creative possibilities. While the new version won’t be officially available until July, you can already download the public beta version!
Serato DJ 3.2.0 arrives with new FX
The new version of Serato DJ Pro and Serato DJ Pro Lite includes a completely reworked and expanded effects section. With new parameters and improved controls, the new effects integrate seamlessly into your DJing workflow. Alongside the Infinity Tone, Spiral Echo, Stretch, Vast Reverb, and Infinity Flanger effects, the hugely popular Rollout effect from Serato Scratch Live is making a comeback.
In addition to this, the new version includes improved versions of existing effects. The Custom FX feature is especially interesting. It allows you to create your own effects and save them as presets. This feature is available to all owners of Serato DJ Suite or Expansions, as well as FX license holders.
Furthermore, Serato DJ 3.2.0 sports an improved user interface with new display modes. This includes the redesigned FX Panel for a better overview. You can now save up to four FX banks.
Channel FX supports controllers and mixers with built-in hardware effects. In the new version of the DJ software, you can now assign these to the filter control. This feature is also available in Serato Play.
If your DJ set is all about effects, you’re going to like this update. We can’t wait to find out what Serato will come up with next.
Availability
At the time of writing, the update is only available as a public beta. The official release will be in July of 2024. You can find out more about the beta here. Various versions of the software are available at Thomann*.
