Don't Show Again Yes, I would!

iPhone 16 Pro Max’s thin bezels shown next to iPhone 15 Pro Max

The Apple iPhone 16 Pro Max is tipped to have the thinnest bezels of any smartphone. That information was shared yesterday, and bezels of 1.15mm were mentioned. Now one of the best-known tipsters shared a mockup of the iPhone 16 Pro Max next to the iPhone 15 Pro Max so that we can see how thin its bezels are.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max’s thin bezels get shown next to its predecessor

If you check out the image below, you’ll see what we’re talking about. For comparison’s sake, the iPhone 15 Pro Max has 1.71mm thick bezels. The ones on the iPhone 16 Pro Max will be 1.15mm

iPhone 16 Pro Max mockup bezels

The difference is visible here, if true, but both phones have fairly thin bezels, so not many people will care. Still, the iPhone 16 Pro Max does look better because of that change, when we look at the two of them side-by-side.

Furthermore, Ice Universe also confirmed the exact bezel thickness, 1.153mm. So, yesterday’s rumor was spot on when it said that the bezels will be 1.15mm thick. They will also be uniform, as you can see in the provided image.

The Dynamic Island will likely stay the same size

In his post, Ice Universe notes that the Dynamic Island should also be reduced. We’re not sure if that will be happening or not, but chances are it will remain the exact same size as the one on the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The iPhone 16 Pro Max will get a larger display and will be a bit larger than its predecessor. It will feature a 6.9-inch display instead of a 6.7-inch one. That’s why the mockup above is not entirely accurate. The iPhone 16 Pro Max will be lager despite the fact it will have thinner bezels.

The entire iPhone 16 series will be coming in September, as expected. Four smartphones will once again arrive, and only ‘Pro’ models will get bigger displays.
