In the theme of Softube’s Mastering May promotional month, the Flow Mastering Suite arrives in the form of a new custom user interface that gives you complete control over your mastering workflow.
To design the interface, Softube, and Jonathan Wyner have joined forces to create a flexible master bus processing system with precise metering. This gives you the power to create your own mastering chains or use the Flow collection of chains designed by professional engineers.
Although it’s hard to get excited about subscription plans, Flow does allow you to earn credits each month to purchase perpetual Softube plug-in licenses. In addition, the plug-ins within the Flow suite can also be used separately inside your DAW.
Another nice touch is the macro controls that give you access to key dynamics, stereo imaging, and tonal parameters. This allows even inexperienced users to get the feel of which controls to use when mastering different genres.
