Immensely popular social media platform TikTok keeps on improving user experience by introducing new tools and features from time to time. Recently, the company joined the AI race and introduced a handful of AI-powered tools to boost its advertising business. Now, it has announced a new platform called TikTok Studio. The new platform will replace Creator tools inside the TikTok app, apart from the Creator Center web app.
TikTok Studio replaces Creator tools & Creator Center
According to TikTok, the TikTok Studio app is a “comprehensive creation and management platform equipped with tools creators can use to create, edit, upload, manage, and analyze their TikTok account and content performance”. The new platform replaces Creator tools inside the TikTok application, along with the Creator Center web app. However, the content creators are still given access to the full suite and tools and resources on the tiktok.com/tiktokstudio website.
The new TikTok Studio application provides easy-to-use tools, apart from centralized operational capabilities. These are touted to help efficiently streamline the content workflow. Existing users can use their TikTok account to log in to the app and upload, film, edit, and even post to TikTok directly from TikTok Studio.
The new platform also has many other tools like auto caption, photo editor, and autocut. These will help content creators polish their content with professional finesse. Creators can also review and manage the posts they’ve published and scheduled. They can interact with comments by filtering and searching for specific comments within the same app.
TikTok Studio also allows content creators to find useful analytical data to target their content to the right audience. Notably, the platform also has a variety of monetization programs. It provides various insights into the performance of the creator’s account and content, which consolidates new growth opportunities.
The TikTok Studio is currently available for Android and desktop, and is coming for iOS devices soon
The TikTok Studio app is available for all content creators who are 18 years or older. The Android app can be downloaded in the beta version on the Google Play Store and for desktops in select regions. The company will expand the availability of the new content creation app to more users and for iOS devices in the coming weeks.
