The Audio-Technica AT-UMX3 is a USB streaming mixer with an intuitive design, ready to become the center of your content creation workflow.
Audio-Technica is known for creating audio solutions that are both reliable and affordable for recording, content creation, live sound, and more.
Audio-Technica AT-UMX3
For starters, the AT-UMX3 provides 24-bit 192 kHz recording with a selection of inputs. This includes an XLR combo input for the mic preamp channel which is also equipped with a peak indicator to keep an eye on during streaming.
In addition, there’s a handy mute button and a switch to activate 48V phantom power. Meanwhile, the instrument channel has a Hi-Z input for guitars and a stereo input for keyboards. Furthermore, the third channel has level controls for USB-C devices and a switch for engaging loopback.
The largest knob on the console is your main headphones level, with peak indicators and a mute button for turning monitoring off when required. Because the AT-UMX is designed specifically for streaming workflows, it has no need for studio monitor outputs like an audio interface.
Instead, there are separate USB-C inputs for its power and connecting your PC, Mac, or mobile device. Overall, this is a great little streaming interface that needs no prior audio experience to operate, making it easy for beginners to get started.
