Old Blood Noise Endeavors has unveiled the Expression Ramper X3, a triple output expression pedal, and the accompanying Scooch Tap Tempo footswitch.

Expression Ramper X3

The latest OBNE pedal is based on their previous limited-edition Triple Expression Ramper expression pedal, which has just now expanded and is called the Expression Ramper X3. Essentially, three Expression Ramper pedals, just with even more features.

Users can synchronize the movement of all three expression outputs and modulate them using LFO shapes, including Triangle, Square, One-Shot, and the new random variations Smooth and Sharp.

The pedal acts as a 1-in-3-out expression splitter for controlling your effects in more complex setups.

Tap Tempo

Users can also use the built-in tap switch for tap tempo, or there is external tap switch compatibility and the more advanced tap-out functionality to link multiple Expression Ramper X3s.

Users can also store and recall their favourite expression settings, which are perfect for all advanced expression options.

MSRP – USD 199

Alongside the Expression Ramper X3, the Scooch Tap Tempo is a compact and convenient external tap switch. It is compatible with various pedals for tap tempo, remote switching, and more. Using a standard TS jack cable, the footswitch requires no power and plugs in to control the tempo.

MSRP – USD 30

Verdict

This new Expression Ramper X3 will appeal to pedal users who want to synchronise multiple effect parameters at once, making it perfect for more complex stompbox setups.
