Motorola is working on the successor to the Razr 40 Ultra foldable smartphone, which was introduced in June last year. The successor will be called the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra in some markets and the Razr+ 2024 in some regions. Ahead of the official launch, a handful of details about the Razr 50 Ultra already leaked earlier. Now, the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra’s price appears in a European retailer’s listing.

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra’s price, memory variants, and color options leaked

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra’s price has appeared in an Italian retailer’s database, shared by Dealntech. As per the source, the flagship foldable smartphone will cost €1,200. This is for the phone’s variant with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of native storage. The handset could be available in more RAM and storage variants at the launch.

Motorola Razr 50 Ultra could cost the same as its predecessor

It’s worth noting that Motorola launched the predecessor, the Razr 40 Ultra, at a starting price tag of €1,199. And, it was for the base variant of the phone with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Currently, the device is retailing for €899 in the EU.

The source also revealed that the Razr 50 Ultra will be available in at least three hues at launch – Blue, Green, and Peach Fuzz. Since the source of these details is a third-party retailer, we advise our readers to take it with a grain of salt till anything is official.

It’s worth adding that Motorola launched the Razr+ 2023 / Razr 40 Ultra in the US at a starting price tag of $999.99. So, the upcoming Motorola Razr 50 Ultra or Razr+ 2024 could cost much less than €1,200, the suggested European pricing from the retailer’s listing.

The Razr 50 Ultra will retain the predecessor’s design

The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra’s live images leaked recently. In the images, the phone appeared identical to its predecessor. The device will have a huge outer display and dual rear cameras, which will be placed horizontally in the top left corner. The phone will offer a punch-hole design on the front to house the selfie camera.

There’s a possibility that the next-gen Razr offering will feature slimmer bezels than the predecessor. Other than that, there will be usual upgrades under the hood in the SoC, battery, imaging, and other departments.

The company could launch the Razr 50 Ultra or Razr+ 2024 in July. Samsung will also launch its latest ‘Flip’ series offering, the Galaxy Z Flip 6, around the same time. The Galaxy Flip and Moto Razr series are direct competitors in the flagship clamshell phones market.
