Fallout fans were treated well this week with the drop of all 8 episodes of the TV series on Prime Video a day early on April 10, and now GeForce NOW is giving subscribers the ability to spend just a little more time in the wasteland. Feel free to do this while you either watch the show or after. Even away from home, since GeForce NOW lets you play games in the cloud.
In addition to the Fallout games, there are 8 more games being added to the service this week for streaming. This includes GIGANTIC: RAMPAGE EDITION, Inkbound 1.0, Broken Roads, Infection Free Zone, Shadow of the Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition, Backpack Battles, Ghostrunner, and Terra Invicta. Those first four games are all new releases that were just launched this week. So if you’ve started to dive in on your PC at home, now you have a way to play them on the go as well.
There’s also some good news for HoYoverse fans. Honkai Star Rail will be coming to GeForce NOW soon. NVIDIA doesn’t mention a release date. It does, however, say it will be “targeted for release this quarter.” That means it should arrive by July since the second quarter recently started at the end of March. Honkai Star Rail was first announced for GeForce NOW back at CES 2024. So it’s been a long time coming.
Two Fallout games come to GeForce NOW
Whether the Fallout TV series has you feeling nostalgic or you simply love spending hours playing, you now have two new ways to enjoy the game franchise. Both Fallout 4 and Fallout 76 are available on GeForce NOW as of today, April 11. For Fallout 4 you’ll need to own the game on Steam. For Fallout 76, you can own either the Steam or Xbox copies of the game. And if you haven’t started the TV series on Prime Video yet, you definitely should.
The story is obviously not one-to-one or based on the exact story of any of the games. However, it follows the source material pretty closely and is quite possibly the best game adaptation on TV. It’s a fun romp through the wasteland that’s enjoyable throughout every minute. There are also tons of little easter eggs that loyal Fallout fans will surely love.
