Samsung has launched its 2024 lineup of Bespoke AI home appliances. The company hosted media events in South Korea (Seoul), France (Paris), and the US (New York City) to introduce a wide range of products. The “Welcome to BESPOKE AI” event featured refrigerators, washing machines, dryers, robot vacuum cleaners, and many other products, all equipped with advanced artificial intelligence and SmartThings capabilities.

Samsung added a smart display to its AI-powered home appliances

In 2019, Samsung introduced Bespoke home appliances to let customers customize the products to best fit their home and lifestyle. Over the past five years, the company has gradually improved its offerings with the latest technologies and design evolution. This year, it has focused on making the devices smarter with AI. Samsung says enhanced connectivity and AI capabilities will take the consumer experience to the next level.

The Korean giant has added AI Home to several products. It is a 7-inch display that provides intuitive access and control over your connected ecosystem of Samsung devices. The display offers a 3D view of the house, so you can locate your appliances and control them accordingly. For example, if you are cooking in the kitchen and feel that the temperature is too hot, you can use AI Home on your induction to turn on the AC in other rooms.

Likewise, you can start the robot vacuum cleaner from the AI Home on the washing machine while doing laundry. AI Home also lets you answer incoming calls on your phone from anywhere in the house. Whether you are in the kitchen or doing laundry, you won’t miss a call. On top of this, the smart display can be used to watch videos (recipes, guides, or anything else), play your favorite songs, and more.

With Mobile Smart Connect, you get a pop-up alert on your phone when you are near registered appliances. The notification includes a quick control menu that allows you to execute certain functions directly from the phone. You don’t have to search around for the remote control for that specific device. While this ability was already available from the SmarThings app, a pop-up alert makes your everyday experience more intuitive.

The devices are secure with Samsung Knox

According to Samsung, its “Welcome to BESPOKE AI” event is more than just a launch event for its next-gen home appliances. It showcases the company’s vision for the future of these products. The Korean firm believes its offerings can change users’ lives through innovations in efficiency, connectivity, and personalization. Its Knox security platform ensures the safety of user data in the era of hyper-connected home appliances.

Samsung unveiled over a dozen new products across the three events. These include the Bespoke French Door Refrigerator with AI Family Hub+, Bespoke Infinite Induction Line, Bespoke AI Laundry Combo, Bespoke Jet Bot Combo AI, Bespoke Jet AI, Bespoke Cube Air Infinite Line, and the new 2024 4-Door refrigerator incorporating Peltier technology. These products will be available from the company’s official website in the US and many other global markets. Some of the devices are already on sale, while others are up for pre-order.
