The Dynaudio Core 5 studio monitor and Core Sub Compact subwoofer have been created for immersive mixing and small home studios.

Introduced at NAMM 2019, the Core reference monitor series has been well-received across the industry, for mixing and post-production applications in both stereo and immersive configurations.

The Core 5 is a 2-way nearfield monitor, designed with a 5-inch woofer and 1-inch tweeter. Although it may look small, it can produce a maximum SPL of 116 dB.

Ideal for smaller listening environments, the Core 5 has the same familiar DSP system as the rest of the Core series. This gives you an extensive set of tools for optimizing the monitoring system for any environment.

So, whether you use speaker stands, brackets, or acoustic decoupling there are two switches to compensate for speaker placement. Furthermore, the Sound balance switch changes the overall sound character to suit your room.

Meanwhile, the Core 5 is also equipped with a digital input and conversion stage. Besides the analogue inputs with a high-pass switch for using a subwoofer, connectivity includes AES3 I/O and BNC word clock, which makes it versatile.

In the deep end, the Core Sub Compact provides the perfect expansion for those looking for an extended low-end range in small studios and if you’re putting together an immersive mixing setup.
