NVIDIA has announced this week that it’s expanding its GeForce NOW Ultimate memberships to subscribers in Japan. This week also marks the first week of April for GeForce NOW’s new games. Which means there’s a ton of exciting new titles to look forward to playing in the cloud.
This week there’s a total of seven new games being added. This includes incredibly popular games like SUPERHOT: MIND CONTROL DELETE, ARK: Survival Ascended, Thief, and The Elder Scrolls Online. ESO is easily the most notable game release here. And that’s in no small part due to it being a long-running MMO.
It’s also rooted in one of gaming’s most popular and well-known franchises, the Elder Scrolls. If you’re a fan of ESO, you’ll be able to play it via GeForce NOW if you own the Steam or Epic Games Store versions. In addition to ESO and the other games already mentioned, GeForce NOW is also getting Sons of Valhalla, MEGA MAN X DiVE Offline, and Turbo Golf Racing 1.0. All of these are available as of now to stream through the service.
Subscribers in Japan can now access GeForce NOW with Ultimate membership benefits
If you’re unfamiliar with GeForce NOW, NVIDIA officially rolled out the Ultimate memberships in 2023. This was part of the upgrade it made to the third plan tier which previously used RTX 3080 GPU-powered servers. The new servers, called SuperPods, are equipped with more powerful RTX 4080 GPUs. At the time of their initial launch, they were only available in a handful of countries. The US was one of these but even in the US, they weren’t online in every region immediately. The rollout took a little time. Since then, NVIDIA has steadily been rolling out the Ultimate membership availability in more regions around the globe.
With Japan’s Ultimate membership access going live, NVIDIA now offers GeForce NOW in 110 countries. And that list is going to keep growing according to NVIDIA. It doesn’t mention, however, where the Ultimate membership will roll out next. The Ultimate membership specifically is offered across North America as well as Europe and a few more regions.
More games coming throughout April
Since this is the first week of April, there are a lot of new games ahead for the month. This includes releases like Dead Island 2 that launched in 2023. However, it will be a new release on Steam on April 22. This is the version that’s being added this month. Phantom Fury, Backpack Battles, Evil West, Lightyear Frontier, and Manor Lords are being added in April as well.
