The Sadowsky MetroExpress basses are among the most reputable brands in Bass Land. So, it’s worth mentioning that dozens are currently on sale, including four-string and five-string basses with JJ and P/J fittings and fretless and left-handed basses! As always, they are only on sale while stocks last.

Sadowsky MetroExpress

When renowned US bass manufacturer Roger Sadowsky, then 70 years young, announced in 2019 that production of the MetroLine and MetroExpress series would be taken over by a well-known German bass manufacturer all too familiar to us, it caused quite a stir. It was Warwick.

Today, the MetroExpress line is manufactured at the Warwick factory in China, with prices ranging between €799 and €899. And it is precisely these models, which took the market by storm a year later in the fall of 2020, that you can now purchase at an unbeatable reduced price.

Sadowsky MetroExpress basses on offer

Let’s start with the model for which Roger became famous: the classic Jazz Bass, with a slightly smaller body compared to a Fender, comes with wonderfully simple active Sadowsky electronics with a 2-band EQ. These four-stringers all have lowered prices: from 499 or 479 euros down to 399 euros, depending on the color. There are also left-handed models and fretless versions.

JJ five-string

Five-stringers are also available. They cost only slightly more. But if your playing style and favorite genre demand another string, which means more versatility and a bigger tonal range, then you might want to take a look at these JJ models.

Hybrid (P/J pickup)

Those who prefer a P/J pickup, i.e. a combination of a Precision-style pickup on the neck and a classic Jazz pickup on the bridge, will find a couple of great deals with these hybrid models. There are four-string models, five-string models, left-handed models, and even fretless basses.
