If you’ve been itching to try out the 2016 cyberpunk/stealth game, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, today’s your lucky day: Epic is offering it for free to help kick off its Spring Sale.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided feels a lot like its predecessor, Deus Ex: Human Revolution — enough that in our review of the game, Hayden Dingman wrote that you’d be hard pressed to tell the two apart. Both games feature a mix of combat, stealth, and hacking, usually with viable options to adopt all three approaches.
What makes this game great? The open world and the attention to detail:
“Explore, explore, explore,” Dingman wrote. “That’s what I loved about Human Revolution and it’s made a return here. Like all Deus Ex games, Mankind Divided is essentially a first-person RPG. That means a lot of breaking into people’s homes, hacking their computers, reading their probably-boring-and-inconsequential-but-what-if-it’s-important emails, stealing all their stuff. There’s something weirdly satisfying about Adam Jensen, the illicit house cleaner.”
Epic is running this deal until March 21 at 8 AM, which is about halfway through the spring sale. Today, you’ll find deals on Alan Wake 2 ($39.99, normally $49.99), Dead Island 2 ($32.99, normally $59.99) and Read Dead Redemption 2 ($19.79, normally $59.99), among others.
