In the past, we’ve provided a step-by-step guide on how to hide apps on your iPhone for a neater and more organized home screen. Now, we are pleased to present a complete guide to finding hidden apps on your iPhone, ensuring that you can easily access them whenever needed.
The iPhone’s innovative design includes a feature that allows users to hide apps, offering a handy solution for those who deal with a large number of apps and want to avoid the cluttered interface. This feature not only allows you to hide specific apps but also provides an option to hide entire pages of apps, which further enhances your smartphone user experience.
Personally, I apply this feature to apps that are not part of my daily use. These apps stay installed and are easy to locate when needed, proving to be an effective way to declutter the iPhone home screen.
To locate hidden apps on your iPhone, start by scanning your home screen. If your device has many apps, some of them might be hidden inside a folder. Explore the different folders on your device. If the apps are not under these folders, follow the steps given below.
How do I locate hidden apps on my iPhone?
To locate hidden apps on your device, swipe right until the search box appears at the top of the screen. Then you can type in the name of the app you are looking for and it will be there on your device. In this example I used the eBay app, all you have to do is click on the app and it will launch.
You can also easily locate apps from the App Library on your iPhone. This can be done by swiping from right to left until you reach the end of the application pages on your device.
The last one is the App Library, you can again type in the name of the app you are looking for and it will appear on your device at the top.
Another way to find apps in the App Library is to scroll down to the different sections, as we can see from the screenshot, the eBay app that I hide is located in the Shopping & Food section of the App Library.
How do I locate hidden pages for apps on iPhone?
To locate a hidden page of apps on your iPhone, you need to long-press on the home screen until the apps on the screen wiggle. Now you need to click on the dots at the bottom of the screen and you will see all the different pages of the home screen.
As you can see from the screenshot above, the fourth page is hidden from the home screen, this can be easily changed by selecting the hash mark on this page and it will be displayed again on your device.
This is a useful feature as you can easily hide entire pages of apps and also individual apps on your device to reduce clutter, but still be able to use the apps. You can find out more information about how to use the App Library and Home screen on your iPhone at Apple’s website.
