Apple launched the new 15-inch Macbook Air at its Worldwide Developers Conference last week. The device is powered by the Apple M2 processor, and according to a recent report, Apple is already developing its successor.
This news comes from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman who revealed that Apple is already developing a new 15-inch MacBook Air that uses the Apple M3 processor which has not yet been officially announced.
In addition to the updated 15-inch model, we can also expect an updated 13-inch MacBook Air. The current model comes with an Apple M2 processor and will be introduced in June 2022. Both new models are expected to be launched next year.
Apple is also working on a slew of other new Macs that will use its new M3 processors, and the majority of these processors are expected to launch in 2024, though we may see some before the end of the year.
We can expect these new Macs to come with the new Apple macOS Sonoma software that was introduced at WWDC 2023 last week. This program will provide a wide range of new features for the Mac operating system. It will be interesting to see what Apple has planned for its lineup of new Macs for this year and next.
